My professional drive is to find solutions to global environmental change related problems. I have worked for more than 15 years as a researcher, consultant and entrepreneur in the environmental sector. I have a PhD in Geography and Environment from the Environmental Change Institute at the University of Oxford. I am also a Co-Founder of CB Nex with some good partners and friends that I have meet in Oxford.

At the National Institute of Ecology (INE) I contributed in the following projects: 1) Analytical research to design the national strategy on climate change adaptation. 2) Project manager of the design of the website ww.ecovehiculos.gob.mx that provides information on the Mexican vehicle fleet energy efficiency and emissions. 3) Project manager of the First National Emissions Inventory of air quality pollutants. 4) Project manager of the design of the National System of Emissions website (GHG emissions and criteria pollutants). 5) Advisor to the President of INE for his work as Chair of the Executive Council of the Inter-American Institute of Global Change Research (IAI).6) Mexican Delegate to the UNFCCC (COP 10; COP 11 and COP 12); to the IAI (COP 12; EC 20; EC 21; SAC 22) and other international forums on climate change.
